FIBA-compliant digital scoresheet

Replace paper without losing the official format. Setup wizard, live engine, PDF export identical to FIBA's model. Built for federations needing compliance without broadcast.

KronoGraph's Digital FIBA Scoresheet is an electronic scorekeeping module that meets the federation's official format. It replaces the table official's paper sheet but produces a signed PDF identical to the FIBA-approved model. National federations, leagues and amateur tournaments can modernize their operation without losing scoresheet validity and without committing to the full broadcast graphics bundle.

Who this service is for

  • National federations wanting to digitize scoresheets without losing FIBA format compliance.
  • Amateur and youth leagues needing a valid scoresheet but not producing broadcast.
  • One-off tournaments (national cup, university cup, all-star) where recycling paper sheets is inefficient.
  • Academy clubs documenting development matches for analysis and player tracking.

What's included

Game setup wizard

The table official starts the match with a 4-step wizard: teams (with logos and colors), dressed rosters (12 players with jersey number and position), referees (lead + 2 assistants + commissioner) and table officials (scorekeeper, assistant, timekeeper, shot clock). If rosters are already synced from Genius Sports or FEB, fields auto-fill and you only confirm match-day dressing.

Live engine during the game

Each action (basket, foul, timeout, substitution, technical) records with player, team, quarter and exact minute. The game clock and chronograph stay in sync with the rest of KronoGraph — if the Operator Console is open, both share the same state.

Automatic statistics

Minutes played, personal fouls, team fouls per quarter, totals per player, score per quarter and differentials. Everything calculates in real time from logged events — no manual math at game end.

FIBA-format PDF export

One click at game end generates the PDF identical to the FIBA-approved model: scorekeeper signature, crew chief signature, timeouts, fouls, score by quarter, minutes played, starting players marked. Print and deliver like any traditional sheet — the digital version stays in the system for audit.

Multi-tenant with RLS

Each federation or project operates in isolation — its scoresheet is invisible to other tenants. Security applies at the database level (Row-Level Security in Supabase), not just frontend. The same KronoGraph instance can serve multiple federations without data leak risk.

Roles and permissions

Three main roles: scorekeeper records during the game, supervisor (crew chief or commissioner) reviews and signs at close, super_admin manages matches, users and access at federation level. Each role only sees what its level allows.

How it works

  1. Federation creates the match in KronoGraph (manually or synced from their API). Assigns scorekeeper and supervisor.
  2. Table official opens /scoresheet/{gameId} on tablet or laptop. Runs the setup wizard.
  3. During the game, records events via tablet-optimized UI — large buttons, shortcuts for frequent events (basket, foul, timeout).
  4. At game end, supervisor reviews and signs. PDF FIBA exports and prints if a physical copy is still required.

Real production use cases

  • Youth league with 80+ matches per season — eliminated paper sheets and cut closing time from 25 to 5 minutes.
  • National university tournament — generated FIBA-compliant PDFs for all final-stage matches, permanent digital archive.
  • Federation with multiple leagues — operated 3 simultaneous leagues in RLS isolation with no scorekeeper seeing cross-league data.
  • Academy club — documented development matches without paying for the broadcast bundle they didn't need.

Frequently asked questions

Is it FIBA-compliant?

Yes. PDF export is identical to the official FIBA model — signatures, timeouts, fouls, score by quarter, minutes played. Print and hand off like a traditional sheet.

Does it work offline?

Events buffer if network drops temporarily and sync on return. Local backend replica available on request for unreliable connectivity.

Can it be used without the broadcast bundle?

Yes. Standalone module. Federations needing only FIBA compliance can hire it alone.

Does it have role control?

Yes. Scorekeeper, supervisor, super_admin with DB-level Row-Level Security.

How are referees and rosters loaded?

Setup wizard at start. If synced with Genius/FEB, auto-fills and you only confirm match-day dressing.
